Location QR questions
Choose a map link that works for people outside your account.
Which location link should I paste?
Use the Share action in your map service and copy a public HTTP or HTTPS link. Avoid an address copied from a private or signed-in session.
Will it open a map application?
The scan opens the encoded web link. The phone decides which browser or compatible map application handles it.
Can I update the place later?
A static QR cannot change its encoded address. Create a new file, or use a dynamic QR when the destination may change after printing.
