URL QR guide
Create a dependable website QR
A URL QR works best when the destination is public, mobile-friendly and unlikely to move after the file is distributed.
Use the final address
Paste the complete public address, including https:// whenever the website supports it.
Check the mobile destination
Open the page on a phone and remove unnecessary or sensitive query parameters.
Test before distribution
Download the QR and scan the exact size and material you plan to publish.
FAQ
URL QR questions
Choose the right address before sharing the file.
Which web addresses are accepted?
The destination must begin with http:// or https://. Unsafe schemes, embedded credentials and direct loops to the redirector are rejected.
Can I change the address after downloading?
No. The final address is stored inside the QR image. Create a new static QR or use a dynamic QR when the destination must remain editable.
Can the URL include tracking parameters?
Yes, if they are already part of the final address and do not contain sensitive information. The complete address is visible to anyone who scans the QR.
